Lu Lu and Matt: engagement photo session in a field of yellow

So I told Lu Lu that we would have to climb a dirt bank. And that the ground would be hard to walk on. And that her dress would very possibly get very dirty. And I was a little worried about their comfort - I don't ever want to push clients into a situation where they're uncomfortable just to get a shot. But when the couple is up for an adventure and is open to play, amazing things can happen. On the session day, Matt and Lu Lu saw the field before I did, and he looked at her and she looked at him and then he hit the brakes and pulled over and before I knew it, Lu Lu was already tying her hiking shoes on and climbing and I was yelling "wait for me!" I totally just made friends today.
